39th Annual Coastal Cleanup Day

-
Event Address

10150 Cara Way
San Diego, CA 92131
United States

Over the last 38 years, the Ocean Conservancy and California Coastal Commission have mobilized communities statewide (including our San Diego region) to collect trash that pollutes our waterways. More than 340 million pounds of toxic waste have been removed. The most common type of trash found in our cleanup was cigarettes with plastic foam filters.

I invite you to join us on the fourth Saturday of September for Coastal Cleanup Day. Be a part of the movement by collecting dangerous debris left behind in our beaches, shorelines, and inland waterways.

Saturday, September 23
9 am – 12 noon

Please bring a bucket or reusable bag and reusable gloves with you for the cleanup. If you don’t have them or forget, don’t worry. The Site Captains will provide supplies while they last. Click here to register and here to print out a consent form.
