Dear Neighbors,
As of May 20th, San Diego County is in Phase 2 of our state's four-phase Resilience Roadmap for reopening. Our current status represents a modification of the original Stay-At-Home guidance, and not a complete removal of the order. Our progress to date allows us to carefully phase back in some non-essential activities, with certain safety requirements. We have seen progress containing this virus and preparing our health systems to manage it, but COVID-19 remains just as virulent and dangerous as ever. As such, it is important that we make sure we don’t let our guard down as we begin to make certain adjustments.
Thanks to all of your steadfast commitment to physical distancing, mask-wearing, and careful beach-going -- we have seen significant success here in North County. Your willingness to comply with our state’s orders to keep people safe and save lives is why we are able to move ahead with a sense of cautious optimism. I appreciate your ongoing cooperation as we move through this together– by staying the course we can continue to save lives and build on all the progress we’ve made.

As your State Assemblymember, I would like to help provide Encinitas, Carlsbad, Oceanside, Vista and Camp Pendleton with a way to navigate the various resources available to you during this time. As you know, the COVID-19 situation evolved rapidly, and information can change in just a matter of hours. My staff will continue to work to keep this page updated for all of you. If you need assistance with any state agency, please feel free to call my district office at (760) 434-7605. My office and I are here to serve you!
